Licence Terms
Last updated 2026-07-27
Grant
On purchase, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Code Kit source in software you build. Perpetual means it does not expire, including if you stop receiving updates or the product is discontinued.
What is permitted
Use in unlimited projects owned or operated by you or your employer. Modification of the source to fit your codebase. Deployment of derived work in production, commercial or otherwise.
What is not permitted
Redistribution or resale of the source, in whole or in substantial part. Publishing the source in a public repository, gist, or article. Inclusion in a product whose primary value is the code itself, which includes templates, starter kits, and competing SEO products.
Sharing repository access or a licence key beyond the seats purchased. Activations are counted; enforcement is soft, and contact is made before any access is removed.
Seats
The Playbook and Code Kit tiers include one developer seat. A seat is a person, not a machine: one developer may use their seat on as many machines as they work on.
Warranty
The Code Kit is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Review and test it in your own environment before deploying it, exactly as you would any dependency. No liability is accepted for loss arising from its use.
Termination
The licence terminates on refund, and repository access is revoked automatically. Code already deployed under a refunded licence must be removed. The licence also terminates on a material breach of the restrictions above, with notice and a reasonable period to correct.
